Walking Together

Walking Together

Sometimes, it's time to rest a bit, reflect, and heal before trying some new things and continuing on our journey.

My practice is currently closed to new patients seeking therapy.  However, I am open to working with new or seasoned therapists in consultation or supervision—especially those who resonate with the light in my words and want to deepen their integration of experiential and attachment-based therapy approaches into their practice for treating complex trauma and loss.

I have a particular affinity for weaving together modalities such as AEDP, EMDR, Parts Work, CSRT, and Psychodynamic Therapy. At the same time, I’m glad to help you stay grounded in whichever model feels most alive for you right now.

As you may sense, my work also invites the unknown and the spiritual into the therapeutic space, offering ways of meeting both patients and therapists who may be hesitant to explore themselves more deeply—or to connect relationally.

Through our work together, my hope is that you’ll come to feel more connected to yourself as a therapist, and more able to map what is unfolding inside your patients. That way, when a patient feels lost in the depths of trauma or dissociation, you won’t lose your own way.

This path isn’t for the faint of heart—it takes courage. And it helps to have support. It’s not only about knowing what to do, but learning to trust who you are and who you’ve always been at your core.

If you’re drawn to explore this journey with me as your consultant or supervisor, I would love to hear from you. Email me at mcecilvt@aol.com to share what feels important for me to know about you, and what you hope to both receive and bring to our work.

Hopefully, through conversation, we’ll discover why this connection feels right—meeting each other through the growing light of what’s often unseen.

Like pilgrims, we are moving in the direction that is right for each of us—knowing that we are still walking together in heart!
